Announcing: Tricon Infotech Engineering Leader Shyam Raj Prasad Appointed MuleSoft Ambassador
MuleSoft, a division of Salesforce, has named Tricon Infotech Engineering Leader Shyam Raj Prasad to its exclusive group of MuleSoft Ambassadors for 2024. The new appointment recognizes Shyam’s knowledge and support contributions to the MuleSoft Community, extensive work promoting the technology through Tricon Infotech, expertise with DataWeave, and development of the first customized JWT policy with Mule.
“MuleSoft has played a role in my professional journey, it gives me great pleasure to give back to the Community as an Ambassador,” said Shyam, who previously served as a MuleSoft Mentor. His new 2024 cohort raises the total number of this group of worldwide Ambassadors to 93.
Last week’s announcement should come as no surprise to members of the MuleSoft Community, where Shyam has become a familiar face in recent years. He has been an active organizer of MuleSoft Meetups in Patna and Bangalore as well as a regular virtual speaker at Meetups in India and the United States. He was also the winner of MuleSoft Community Award 2024 – Top MuleSoft Twitch Stream Guests.
Users of the MuleSoft Help Forum will recognize Shyam’s name, as he’s currently ranked fourth among active users. The Forum’s members in turn have recognized his contributions for being as valuable as they are numerous: To date, Shyam has answered 1,000 questions from fellow users, who often rank his answers the Best among submitted responses.
In addition to the formal MuleSoft Community, Shyam also runs the DataWeave Fun group on LinkedIn, which features puzzles, quizzes, and videos to help share his enthusiasm for the technology.
Shyam also has been a driving force at Tricon Infotech’s integration community for more than a decade.
“Our partnership with MuleSoft continues to strengthen as Tricon Infotech grows its industry-leading integration practices globally,” said Adi Chikara, Tricon Infotech’s Chief Technology Officer. “Shyam’s recognition is a validation of how Tricon teams collaborate within MuleSoft Community”
Shyam credits Tricon Infotech’s culture of peer training with helping him share his knowledge effectively. While many organizations hire professional trainers to teach their teams how to use new technologies, Tricon Infotech instead encourages its team members to train one another. When Shyam eventually turned his attention to sharing his knowledge with the MuleSoft Community at large, he was already a seasoned instructor.
It’s with this zeal that Shyam shares his expertise, insights, and inspiration that come from a firm belief that engineers should be platform-agnostic and focus on the right tool for each problem at hand.
